Shohola is a small township in northeastern Pennsylvania. It is positioned in Pike County and situated on the banks of the Delaware River, the separation between Pennsylvania and New York. According to the United States Census Bureau, Shohola was populated by approximately 2,475 people in 2010.

Shohola is located in a region of Pennsylvania that was originally inhabited by Native American Indians. In 1772, individuals of European descent arrived and established the Village of Shohola.
